I had a fail of applying self tanner and the crew at the Vanity Vault came to the rescue! They helped me prep my skin and got me in the next day to even out what I did to myself!

I had the BEST experience at Vanity Vault getting a spray tan before my upcoming vacation. I am so fair skinned and wanted to be dark without being orange and Taylin made it happen perfectly. Every part of the tan was thoughtfully taken care of. She made this vulnerable experience so easy and fun! Taylin was truly the best during my appointment. They are so well trained here and do a great consult for your spray tan before choosing your color and how long to wait before showering. Taylin was super thorough and made me very comfortable in what can be a vulnerable service to receive. I am already obsessed and will be finding more reasons to come in the future now

Very professional and efficient. Spray tan turned out the perfect tone. They take all the time to blend, lotion, oil and dry areas as necessary.

Had my teeth whitened and staff was very patient and friendly.

I did a trial 2 months before my wedding and it was great, tested out the color etc. so I would know what it would look like come wedding day. Came back for my wedding spray tan and it was not noted what I had used at my trial. The spray tan today is okay, it doesn’t look quite like my trial which I understand is possible but kind of defeated the purpose of a trial. I am not feeling as great as I did last time and sadly my wedding is tomorrow. It is what it is but not the best experience.

Absolutely the best spray tan I’ve ever had. So detailed oriented, listened to exactly what I wanted. Emphasized shadows. Turned out perfect!! The extra sweat proof top coat made my tan last soooo much longer. The dusting of the powder to prevent creasing made a huge difference as well and made the tan very easy to wear while it developed. Thank you!! Definitely will come again!!

I had my first ever spray tan at The Vanity Vault Calgary and I am so glad that I chose them!! Ayla was extremely professional and knew exactly what she was doing. At first I was a little bit uncomfortable, being topless and all, but after only 10 minutes together I felt relaxed and comfortable! As for the spray tan itself, I am OBSESSED!! I can’t even describe how good it looks, and the colour is perfect for my fair skin tone! I work outside in the summer so I had a pretty bad farmers tan on my legs, arms and feet but with this spray tan I can barely even tell the difference between the previous natural one I had accumulated and the new fake one! It’s perfect! The staff are extremely accommodating and kind, I had to cancel my appointment the night before due to my work and they were so understanding and helped me to reschedule the following day. I will absolutely be coming back to get another spray tan in the future! Thank you Ayla!! 🙂

I had a great experience for my first spray tan ever! They were professional, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The tan is even, glowy, flawless, and complements my natural skin tone! It feels like I just came back from vacation. The tan is still holding after 7 days, only some fading around my hands and face where I wash the most. I would highly recommend and will be coming back to get my wedding spray tan here!

Taylin and MaKenna were absolutely amazing. They're so knowledgeable, and their professionalism speaks volumes. Helped me look my best and helped me feel comfortable since spray tanning is very new to me. I’ve seen multiple artists over the years, and each one has been professional, knowledgeable, and super helpful in choosing the right tone and level of darkness for every occasion. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Worst experience ever. Booked online with Emily, and received an email confirmation that I am booked with Emily however when I showed up, they stated that I would have another person complete my service and I should have known if I checked their social media. Make that make sense. This would have been okay if they responded in an appropriate manner however the owner and the trainee went on the immediate defense (rolling of the eyes included), stating that I would still be charged if I didn't want to continue my service (I didn't even mention that I was not going to continue my service). Why would you even have an option on your website to select an specific employee for your service, when you cannot even guarantee it. In addition to this, they decide to go on a social media rant post my appointment (real mature and professional), with lies. I am not even going to respond to the false accusations as the post in itself says enough. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Update & Response to Owner's Response: Can you clarify what my comments were to your staff member? I did not and have never made a comment about age (because that wouldn't matter), and only stated that I was disappointed in the last minute appointment switch up as I had done research prior to booking the appointment, and wanted to simply book someone with more experience, which is a standard practice. Questioning experience in the industry and questioning someone's age is not the same thing, especially when you highlight everyone's years of experience on your website. You also mentioned that I was "googling her words to "fact-check" her in real time. I was not doing that at all. I was reviewing my emails to see where it stated that you can change my appointment at any time, as you stated on the phone. Next time you decide to go on social media rant with false accusations about paying clients, please ensure you get the story correct, or better yet, reach out to the client.

Could not recommend vanity vault enough! I had a spray tan with Emily before my Masters convocation and it was perfect. Truly looks so natural. Emily is a wizard! I received so many compliments. The space also feels safe and welcoming, I felt so comfortable. I will be back soon for an upcoming wedding I’m attending.

Really enjoyed my spray tan experience at Vanity Vault! I am a religious self tan user but wanted something a little more long lasting for summer weddings coming up so I decided to try a spray tan and it did not disappoint! The colour ended up being a perfect shade of dark with no creases or lines anywhere. I will definitely be back!
